The weekend

Last Friday we went to the other building for a hairdresser workshop. I gave Romy a hair treatment for damaged hair. On Saturday we took the underground to Buckingham Palace. We thought there was the ceremony of the changing of the guards, but there wasn’t . After Buckingham Palace we went to Nothing Hill. Nothing hill is famous because of the movie. There were a lot of colurful houses. Also there was a nice market. I didn’t know that it was a famous place to go. Then we took the underground to St. Pauls Cathedral. It was around 4.30 pm. The church was closed for visitors. We only could come in for the evensong. So we did. It was nice to see how many people were there. The Cathedral was beautiful! I have never seen so much gold! We ate something in London and took the underground to our houses. On Sunday Romy and I went to the City. We went to Covent Garden, China Town and to Kings cross St. Pancras station. The station is famous from the Harry Potter movies because of platform 9 ¾ . From the station we took the underground to our host families.
